Me Before You is a novel based movie about a girl named
Lou who works as a caregiver for paralyzed Will. Their love blooms as Lou tries
to change Will’s mind about euthanasia with taking him places and doing
activities.
I love Sam Claflin, my friends and I watched the film,
Love Rosie, in the cinemas as well. Of course I like Emilia Clarke, from Game
of Thrones. It’s the first time I saw her act aside from her Khaleesi
character.
Lou’s character was an optimistic fashion forward girl. I
salute her with her brave fashion choices. Those floral pumps are to die for.
Nobody could mess this girl’s spirit not
even Sharon.
Will is a smart young man. He was fearless and at the
present time he is in dread. I understand his will to die and end his life
because he feels like he’s no longer living. We all have a choice and I think
Will made the right one. It hurts but it’s for the best.
It wasn’t much on the kilig scale, it was like a 6 / 7
out of 10
Their chemistry wasn’t that strong. Maybe it was because
Will’s charisma wasn’t to the full extent since he was in a wheelchair with
only a couple of muscles to move. But that classic Sam Claflin smile brought it
to home base. Gawd.
There were a lot of attempted kilig scenes but they were
either fast that it didn’t hit you or just too slow that it didn’t reach you.
But take note: I cried. That by the beach scene was hard.
I liked the ending. The perfect way to end the film is
with a croissant in Paris.
I’ll leave you a question. What’s your stand on
euthanasia after watching the film?
