THE 1975 MALL TOUR

5:09 AM

Last Saturday we went to Fairview Terraces to see The 1975 live. According to reviews they were amazing and they really were. It's just that their British accent is so thick that you can't understand them much. Now I'm realizing that this was the first time I ever heard a British accent in person, my first concert and first international celebrity I saw in person. Wow.

I was really worried that I wore a pink dress to the concert because as you all may know The 1975's music videos are almost all in black and white and they have this goth like feeling. I was worried that I would be the only pink one in a crowd of black tees. But there were also other colorful people in the crowd although black was dominant.

We have waited for a long time for the concert to start and well when we heard a hundred of screaming girls it meant it was about to start. I don't know why but I just assumed that The 1975 fans would be more chill and laid back and not fangirl-y because they are not a pop band.

'The City' was the first song they played. I enjoyed singing along to 'Chocolate', 'Girls', 'Sex' and my all time favorite 'Settle Down'. I liked 'Talk!' too, Matt Healy even took a fan's phone and took a video of himself and the band while singing.

I love how Matt Healy sings. The way he moves in stage and the way he flips his Mohawk hair is kinda cool.
